Den wissenschaftlichen Vortrag zum Thema „Wie Tau Proteine in Alzheimer und verwandten Krankheiten zelltoxisch werden“ wird Dr. Susanne Wegmann halten. Sie ist Biophysikerin und Forschungsgruppenleiterin an DZNE-Standort Berlin und erforscht die Rolle des Tau-Proteins, das bei Alzheimer und anderen Tauopathien eine Schlüsselrolle spielt, sowie die physikalisch-chemischen Mechanismen, die im Krankheitsfall zur Nervenzellschädigung führen. Nach dem Vortrag bringen Aylen Pritchin (Violine) und Diana Ketler (Klavier) Werke von R. Schumann, C. Schumann und J. Brahms zu Gehör.

The next seminar of the Bonn Organoid Club: Nicole Teusch (Universität Düsseldorf): "Tumor microenvironment on-chip model for precision drug discovery in pancreatic cancer" Im „Bonn Organoid Club“ treffen sich interessierte Forschende monatlich zum Austausch von Expertise und Reagenzien zu Organoid-Modellen in der biomedizinischen Forschung. Ein Schwerpunkt dabei sind technische Aspekte, die für viele Wissenschaftler in diesem Bereich von Interesse sind. Zusätzlich werden auch externe Wissenschaftler zu Vorträgen eingeladen, um ihre Forschung zum Thema "Organoide" der Bonner Community zu präsentieren.
