Hands-on Workshop Machine Learning Vol. II

During a two-day workshop, participants will first be given an introduction into the theoretical concepts of machine learning by Prof. Dr. Christian Bauckhage (Uni Bonn). In the second part, hands-on application sessions will allow the participants to employ machine learning on their own using Google Colab. On the second day, presentations from the fields of mathematical modelling in the life sciences, physics and neuroscience will provide insights into the application of machine learning in the various research fields. Last but not least, we will conclude with a keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. Aimee van Wynsberghe on “Repairing AI for Environmental Justice”.
